SESSION 2
(SATURDAY MORNING)
Pursing Christ (Are we Pursing Christ as much as we purse our worldly lives?)
Philippians 3        Proverbs 4:23

1. What are we pursing that takes our main thoughts away from Christ?
2. How can we make focus our hearts on Christ to better purse him?
3. Church camp high is a thing we see a lot with camps. How can we challenge each other to continue pursing Christ with all our hearts even after this weekend?

SESSION 3
(SATRUDAY EVENING)
  • Acts 28:1-10
  • Did God send the storm? Satan? Coincidence. Either way, God worked it together for Good and protected Paul. Romans 8:28
  • The island of Malta is 85% Christian 2000 years later. What might have felt like a detour or even the end of the road, was something God used not only for Paul’s, but for the people on the island of Malta. Some of the people who live there can trace the lineage of their faith back to the day that Paul landed on the island.
  • We abide by sharing Christ with others, and trusting God to use what we offer!
  • We can’t get deep without discomfort.  We are being invited to trust God through discomfort, difficulty, and desperate circumstances.
  • We can abide with Christ as we share our the gospel or encourage people with God’s word, and trust Him to use what we offer.
  • Ask God to help you be bold as you step out and share the gospel with people that God has put in your path.

SESSION 4
(SUNDAY MORNING)

In your journal on Saturday Night, reflect on these questions and prepare to share them with one another on Sunday morning:
1) What’s one thing that God has made clear to you this weekend?
2) What’s one thing you’ve learned about your self this weekend?
