Event Requests

Anyone desiring information on renting the church facility for personal events should contact Dawn Adams at dawn.adams@fbsweetwater.org or at the church office for requirements, costs, and expectations.

Please note the following protocol for use of the Sweetwater facilities (effective October 1, 2020):
1.  Facility/Ground use must first go through the Administrative Assistant, Lead Pastor (currently Dawn Adams).  All Event Request Forms must be submitted online or in person no less than 2 weeks prior to the event requester.  Recurring events (worship rehearsals, monthly committee meetings) require only 1 request and must be scheduled on the church calendar through Dawn Adams.
 
2. Administrative Assistant, Lead Pastor (Dawn Adams) will submit the event form to Nate Locario for FACILITIES APPROVAL.
 
3. Event Form will then go through STAFF APPROVAL.   **Please know that all requests are brought to the Monday morning staff meeting at 9am for review.
 
4.  Notification of approval to applicant will be made by Administrative Assistant, Lead Pastor (Dawn Adams) within 48 house of staff approval.
 
This protocol includes all adult, children and student ministries, committees, worship, small groups, SCP.  Also to include Deacons, Leadership Team, Finance and Personnel Teams, Special Events for members and non-members.
 
If request is denied, appeal should be made to the Facilities Team.
