MOVIE NIGHT & PETTING ZOO – JUNE 3

Movie Night is WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3RD, 6-8PM.
Join us for a movie on the lawn, with popcorn, hot dogs, snow cones, and yard games.
We’ll take a brief 10-minute intermission during the movie for a few announcements and a short message of hope. 
 
Our feature movie is David (2025) from Angel Studios. We think this movie reveals some timeless truths about faith in God. If you’ve seen the movie before, don’t worry, there are plenty of other activities to enjoy–like a live petting zoo from Woodland Stables in Sorrento, FL! Kids and adults love to interact with the fluffy lambs, and kind donkeys from Woodland Stables. 
 
Bring a blanket or chairs. Bring old friends or make new ones at this event for the whole family–young, old, and in-between. 
 
Donations for the screening are appreciated but not required.
 

 

CHILI COOK-OFF – JUNE 10
Sponsored by the Wekiva Food Pantry

Come hungry for this friendly competition to crown the best cook in the kitchen.
Whether you just want to sample the best chili recipes in town or are planning to enter the competition, you’re invited to this tasty showdown, with hot dogs, chili-fixin’s, chips, and drinks for the family.  
 
This night is brought to you by the Wekiva Food Pantry, who will have a special food packing experience set up in our lobby, followed by a pantry tour at 7pm for those who might be interested.
 
A donation of $15/family is requested for chili sampling, but there’s no cost to enter the competition.  

Awards and prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall recipes, so bring your spicey, meaty, unique creations and enter to win.
 
 
 
 

WATER NIGHT – JUNE 17

Water night is wet and wild fun for all ages! We have 3 zones for different age-appropriate activities.
  • 0-5 year olds will enjoy sprinklers, water tables, a splash pad, and a small slide.
  • Kids 6 and up will go crazy for large slides, a foam pit, and volley ball
  • And adults will get a kick out of the “Dunk A Deacon” Tank. 
  • We have some surprises for High Schoolers and Young Adults as well. 

     

This is a perfect night for ice-cream and popsicles, and will have pizza and root-beer on tap!
 

 

MAGIC WITH A MESSAGE  – JUNE 24

We’ll close out Sweetwater Summer Nights with a magic show from Christian magician, David Garrard. This special night is more than just a few cool tricks; David will remind us why the love of God is lifechanging. Bring the whole family to this family-friendly show and stick around afterward for food and activities.
