MaryAnn Locario
MaryAnn joined the First Baptist Sweetwater staff in the fall of 2007, a year after moving to Central Florida from the Memphis, Tennessee area. MaryAnn received Christ as her Savior at a young age and has felt called to Children’s Ministry since her mid-teens. MaryAnn received her Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Education from Bethany Bible College, in Sussex, New Brunswick, Canada. Since graduating, MaryAnn has served as a Christian School teacher in New York and Tennessee, a Nursery School Director in Connecticut, and a Homeschool Mom for over eighteen years, which just happens to be her proudest accomplishment. MaryAnn has also served numerous years as a Sunday School teacher, AWANA Director, Children’s Church Leader, and various other volunteer positions. MaryAnn truly enjoys serving the Lord and His sweet children.
MaryAnn and her husband, Rich, are from Connecticut and have been married for over 21 years. They have three boys: Nathan, Noah, and Sam. In her spare time, MaryAnn enjoys reading, scrapbooking, going to the beach, and spending time with her family.
One of MaryAnn’s favorite verses is Proverbs 18:10 which reads, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous runs into it, and is safe.”
