Chris, his wife Kim, and daughter Abi became a part of the Sweetwater family in June of 2011. Chris previously served on the staff at FBC Dover, Florida and FBC Dallas, Texas in the education and evangelism areas. Prior to serving as a full time minister, his BA in Commercial Photography and Economics at East Texas State University prepared him to own and operate a commercial photographic business for 18 years. The training he received while at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, while earning a Master of Arts in Christian Education, helped focus his passion on equipping the saints for works of service for the building up of the body of Christ. He believes the connections made in Sunday School are foundational for all of us to grow closer to Christ and others as we live our lives together.
