Two local ministries serve many of the benevolent needs of our community. Loaves and Fishes (L&F) (www.loavesandfishesapopka.com) is an ecumenical, faith-based ministry located four miles from FBS. Each week, L&F provides assistance to 500+ family units in our area.
The Christian Sharing Center (CSC) is a benevolent ministry assisting families of Seminole County since 1986. Call-in needs to our Church are typically filtered through CSC and L&F before we respond directly.
Our in-house benevolent ministry is called A.N.G.E.L.S. ministry (Acknowledging Needs Giving Encouragement, Love, and Support). It is funded as a part of our Church’s annual ministry to assist individuals and families many vital ways. We may refer individuals to one of a dozen area ministries that we support with a monthly monetary stipend for additional assistance.
